Is it greedy to want both comfort and performance? We don’t think so. The Backband is engineered to provide adjustability and most important, support and comfort. The 22in (55.9cm) support straps allow enough adjustability for paddlers of all heights to achieve the optimal paddling position.
Weight: 6 oz (0.2 kg)
Strap Length: 22 in (55.9 cm)
Strap Width: 2 in (5.1 cm)
HOW TO INSTALL
Run the compression straps through their respective rear buckles on the Backband up to the silver, aluminium d-rings.
Next, run the straps through the stern buckles on your packraft. This setup allows for easier tensioning and adjustment while on the river.
NOTE: You can raise or lower the height of the Backband slightly by having the support strap buckles either on the top or bottom of the Backband. If the buckles are on the bottom, it’s a high backband position. If the buckles are on the top, it’s a low backband position. Test both to find what’s most comfortable. Remember, try to setup your packraft so that your toes are touching the front of your raft, especially when running Class 2+ water.
